Electric Buggy Store
Residents who own an electric buggy can park them in the store which also has easily-accessed charging points.

Parker Bath
Installed in 1999, the electrically-operated seat enables all residents to have access to a bath. This is available in addition to their ensuite showers.

Residents' Lounge
This is a large combined area to give good space for functions, entertainment and occasional meetings. A garden room is to be added to enhance the ambience and space available.

Guest Room
This is fully furnished with en-suite facilities. It is used by all potential residents during their trial week and for respite care. Residents' visitors may use it to stay if they wish for which there is a modest charge.

Kitchenette
There is a kitchenette located on each floor housing a sink unit, fridge, microwave oven, kettle and toaster, where residents prepare their breakfast.

During the day they can make drinks for themselves or their visitors.

Personal Alarms
Alarm pulls in bedrooms and showers and personal pendant alarms are all connected to the house alert system when staff are on duty. When staff are not on duty the system is switched through to Charnwood Borough "Lifeline". This gives residents the opportunity to call for help 24 hours a day. We encourage residents to wear their pendant at all times.
